About Me

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The Tyler School of Art, Temple University.

 

After graduation I was Assistant Production Manager at Natural History Magazine at The

American Museum of Natural History in New York City for three years, after which I

established my own illustration studio.

 

With permission to audit the Dissection Anatomy Class at Albert Einstein College of Medicine

I was able to increase ny knowledge of the human body.

 

My clients have included many major book publishers, some of which are listed previously, plus pharmaceutical companies including Pfizer, Upjohn and Boeringer Ingelheim for whom my work included paintings for exhibits and monographs. My work with medical magazines included Hospital Practice for whom I free lanced regularly for almost three decades, and The American Journal of Nursing.

 

Professional Associations: former Member of The Art Directors Club of New York,  Member

Emeritus of the Society of Illustrators, New York City, former Member and Chairperson of the

Joint Ethics Committee,  Member of The Mystic Carvers Club,  Connecticut,  and member

of the Guilford Art League.

 

Other Associations have included  Chairperson of Exhibition for several years at the

Wilton Connecticut Historical Society and at The Keeler Tavern Museum in Ridgefield , Connecticut.
